Thank you for registering for the Summer 2024-25 season at Southern Districts! We warmly welcome back our returning teams and are excited to introduce our new participants.
The fixtures for Round 1 are now available. You can access them through the BasketballConnect app Apple Store / Google Play or via desktop here.

Inviting Players to Your Team
If you missed the opportunity to invite players during registration, you can do so by logging into your account via this link.
- Go to the Registrations tab and scroll down to find your team under the “Team Registration” section.
- Click the three dots next to your team and select Add Team Members.
- Enter the player’s first name, email, and select Player Membership – Player 10 or Older.
- Click Save, then submit the invite on the next screen.
You can also resend invites by selecting View under the three dots menu.
Finals Eligibility
To be eligible for finals, each player must participate in at least 50% of the season’s matches as a registered player. Fill-in games do not count toward finals eligibility.
Basketball Queensland Player Registration Fee
Basketball Queensland requires an annual player registration fee through BasketballConnect. If your 12-month registration expires during the season, you will be prompted to renew.
This registration is essential for insurance and identification purposes.
Initial Grading Games
There will be 4 grading games before teams are finalised into their divisions for the regular season. Grading allows us to assess your team’s performance accurately, and adjustments may be necessary based on factors like new teams or changes in your lineup.
If your team plays the same opponent twice during grading, please let me know, as this would be an oversight.

Published Fixtures
After the initial 2 rounds, we may re-grade teams. Once grading is finalised, the full season fixtures will be published. You’ll be notified of any changes to your team’s schedule.

Player Uniforms
During grading there are no penalties for players out of uniform. From Round 5 onwards, all players must wear the correct uniform. Failure to do so may result in penalties or disqualification from the game.

Match Payments & Forfeits (via Teammo)
Match fees are to be paid online through Teammo prior to each game. The fee for the Summer 2024-25 season is $100 per game. You can pay weekly or in advance via the platform.
In case of a forfeit, the fee will depend on notice given:
- More than 24 hours: $100
- Less than 24 hours: $150
- No show: $200
We encourage you to forfeit via Teammo as soon as possible to notify the opposition and referees.
Teammo also offers tools to collect fees from team members. You can request payments via SMS, and members can pay directly through a link without needing a Teammo account.
Getting started with Teammo
Players responsible for paying game fees will need to download the Teammo app from the Apple Store, Google Play or sign in via your Desktop to make game fee payments.
