Southern Districts have made history in the U18 representative age division.
This U18 representative season is a big one for our association, as we are entering 4 U18 Girls teams into the SQJBC & State Championships season for the first time ever.
This is not just a first for us however, we also become to first association EVER to enter 4 Girls teams into the U18 age division in the whole of Queensland!
Female basketball has always had a rich history here at Spartans, with our senior women’s teams having great success over the last 40 years. Having 4 teams in U18’s for the first time shows that female basketball is alive and well here at Southern Districts, and the future of our women’s teams is looking super bright.
This U18 season sees Southern Districts entering 8 teams total into the SQJBC & State Championships season; 4 boys & 4 girls teams.
