QSL Southern Districts Spartans
Southern Districts have an strong history in Basketball Queensland’s State League program (formerly Southern Basketball League). The Queensland State League provides a pathway to high-level competition for young developing players, players at their pinnacle, and players who have stepped down from elite competition. QSL is a strong and competitive league in its own right, and also serves as a key launchpad for young players looking to move into the NBL1 and beyond.
In 2024, Southern Districts entered 5 teams into the QSL competition; 1 QSL1 Womens, 1 QSL1 Mens, 2 QSL Youth League Boys teams and 1 QSL Youth League Girls team.
Southern Districts wiped out the Youth League Womens competition & the Youth League Mens Div 2 competition, taking home 2 championships.
