QSL Southern Districts Spartans

Southern Districts have an strong history in Basketball Queensland’s State League program (formerly Southern Basketball League). The Queensland State League provides a pathway to high-level competition for young developing players, players at their pinnacle, and players who have stepped down from elite competition. QSL is a strong and competitive league in its own right, and also serves as a key launchpad for young players looking to move into the NBL1 and beyond.

In 2023, Southern Districts entered 5 teams into the QSL competition; 1 QSL2 Womens, 1 QSL2 Mens, 2 QSL Youth League Boys teams and 1 QSL Youth League Girls team.

Southern Districts wiped out the QSL2 competition in 2023, with both our Mens & Womens team winning the QSL2 championship! This also puts us back in the Division 1 competition for 2024.
